Cody was recently bred to Hidden Leaf’s Shinobi of Black Forest in
February, 2010;
a young black Lab, only 2 years old. Shinobi is out of Black Forest
Ace of Spades SH (black) and Black Forest’s Abby (yellow), both OFA
Good. Ace is from Gumbo of Black Forest; Abby is out of Cajun of Black
Forest.
While having no titles yet, Shinobi is in training for both hunt
test and pointing Lab titles.
Shinobi is OFA Good, Elbows
normal and EIC clear. Eyes have been CERF certified.
The approximate whelp date is April 22. Both black and yellow pups
are expected.

Cody recently had a breeding to GMPR Dakota Plains Prairie Rose SH (Rosie). Rosie is a 5 year old Grand Master Pointing Retriever. She only needs one additional pass to complete her MHR title. She has passes on her AKC Master Hunter title and expects to complete both next season. Rosie is out of GMPR Goose Creek's Holy Smoke MH. Smoke is out of AFC Chugach Hills Jazz's Rascal and Bonkerjohn Kate, an excellent combination. Her mom is Richards Black Lace. With her pedigree added to that of Cody, there is no doubt that these pups will point be excellent hunters. Black and possibly chocolate pups are expected around Thanksgiving. Cody was recently bred to Northwood's Jen (SN80931806) in May, 2009. Jen is a non-pointing Lab, a dear family pet and is said to be a retrieving machine on ducks along the Mississippi River. Cody was bred to Gabby, a well titled agility Lab, in April. Puppies have been confirmed and black and yellow pups are expected in mid-June. Gabby, more formally known as Case Pond's Lady Gabrielle - MX, MXJ, OF, APD, ATD, C-ATCH, C-SJMA, CGC, resides with her owner, Rich Dennison, in Vernon,Connecticut.
